Privacy Notice
Short version: your files never leave your device, your card never touches my servers, and the little data that exists serves to run the site and reply to you. Details below. Data controller: AsYouAre.
1. What I do NOT collect
- Files you process in the tools — compression, background removal, PDF and media tools run entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- Payment details — checkout is handled by Paddle as merchant of record; your card data goes to Paddle, never to me.
- Builder projects — pages you assemble are stored in your own browser (localStorage), not on my servers.
2. What is collected, and why
- Usage analytics — Vercel Web Analytics (aggregate, cookieless page metrics) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session insights such as clicks and scrolls) help me understand what works and fix what doesn't.
- Booking and contact details — if you send the project brief on /book, the name, email and project details you type are emailed to me (delivered via Resend) so I can reply. They are used for nothing else.
- Purchase records — Paddle shares with me the information needed to honour your license (such as your email and order reference).
3. Cookies and local storage
The site uses browser storage for product features: your builder projects, preferences, free-plan counters and your license key live in your browser's localStorage and stay on your device. Analytics may set identifiers as described by Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
4. Third parties
- Paddle — payment processing, tax, invoicing (merchant of record);
- Vercel — hosting and aggregate analytics;
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised usage insights;
- Resend — transactional email delivery for the booking form;
- Calendly — if you book a call, scheduling happens under Calendly's own terms.
Each processes data under its own privacy policy; none of them receives your tool files or builder projects, which never leave your browser.
5. Retention
Emails you send me are kept as long as our conversation is useful. Purchase records are kept as long as licenses must be honoured and as required for accounting. Analytics data lives under the retention rules of Vercel and Microsoft Clarity.
6. Your rights
Write to hamzahadjtaieb@gmail.com to ask what data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. For payment data, Paddle is the controller of the checkout — requests can also be addressed to them.
7. Changes
If the way data is handled changes materially, this notice will be updated and the date above revised.
